HazmatShip: Hide Air Shipping (“HazmatShip”, “we”) is a Shopify app operated by hmtechinnovation, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. This policy explains what data the app processes when a merchant installs it.

Summary

We do not collect or store personal information about your customers. The checkout rule runs on Shopify’s servers and only sees, for each shipment, whether it contains a hazmat-tagged product, the destination country, state/province and city, and the names of the delivery options. It does not receive customer names, emails, street addresses, phone numbers or payment details, and it stores nothing.

Data we process

• Store data: your shop domain and the access token Shopify issues to the app (needed to keep you signed in and save your settings).
• App settings: your hazmat tags, collections, keywords and country rules. They are stored in your own Shopify store (an app-owned metafield), not on our servers.
• Support messages: if you use the in-app “Support & feedback” form, we store your message, your shop domain, the reply email you provide and a snapshot of the app’s status (on/off and counts of your rules) so we can help you.

How we use data

Only to provide the app: showing and saving your settings, running your checkout rules, handling billing through Shopify, and answering support requests. We do not sell data, show ads or share data with third parties, except the service providers needed to run the app (hosting, and an email delivery provider for support notifications).

Shopify permissions

• write_delivery_customizations — to register and update the checkout rule.
• read_products — to show and select your collections.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, Shopify removes the app’s checkout rule and settings from your store, and we delete your store’s session data. Support messages are kept for up to 24 months and deleted earlier on request. We honor Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks (customer data request, customer redact and shop redact); since we hold no customer data, customer requests have nothing to return or delete.
